Sonar 2010 – Night 1 – 18th of June 2010
If Sonar by Day is a relaxed, pleasant, and almost family experience, Sonar by Night is another story. Try to think of the main stage as a really big warehouse, then times that by 4. Some really big names played that night: AIR, LCD Soundsystem, and… the Sugarhill Gang.
Platform
Waiting for a train late at night, and going to the end of the platform where the light is cold.
It’s snowing in London!
I had felt a bit unprepared when it happened last year, so I have had my gear ready in preparation of this year, and replaced the D200 by a D700.

Night Protest
Taken in Parliament Square, where the Tamils have been gathering for the past few weeks. (See also the pictures from the protest the next day). I was out testing the D700 on low-light conditions. As you can see, this is 1600 ISO and it looks pretty damn sweet…
