It’s snowing in London!

Parliament Square under the snow, London, 6 Jan 2010
I had felt a bit unprepared when it happened last year, so I have had my gear ready in preparation of this year, and replaced the D200 by a D700.
Tonight was not as mental as last year and it’s probably going to be all melted in the morning so I’m glad I captured one or two shots. And there should be the rest of the week to get some more!

Beautiful pics! Really capture the mood.
Can I ask you a question? How do you protect the glass on your lens from snow getting in there?
Thanks Antonina! For the glass, I leave the lens hood on and that keeps most of the snow out. I stayed at the same spot for 10/15 minutes and snow got on the glass only once (and I had to wipe it off). For the camera, I wrapped it in those plastic stuff you get from the dry-cleaner! Hood popping out the plastic.
Thanks
I have a hood on one of my lens, I guess need to invest in some more. Dry cleaners tip is great – I’ll give it a go
